Cantilever Storage
System is a specialized application intended for effective
storage of long items in metal, wood, plastic etc. with a wide
variety of dimensions. The system is installed by
interconnecting a series of uprights (vertical members) which
have one or more cantilever (overhanging) arms on one or both
sides. Long items like pipes, metal bars, steel 'C'/
'I' sections, ladders, wooden planks etc .. Can be
easily loaded and unloaded from the cantilever arms by use of
suitable Material Handling Equipment. Side Loaders are the
ideal Material Handling Equipment to be used with a Cantilever
system; however, ordinary Forklift Trucks can also be used. With slight
modifications and ingenuity, a Cantilever system can be used
for a wide variety of non-conventional applications like tyre
storage, auto-parts storage and storage of domestic appliances
and furniture. The load on one Cantilever arm can vary from
500 kgs to 1000 kgs as per requirement |
